Recently my once fairly clear complexion has gone ruddy and uneven. I do not typically wear any makeup (just moisturizer and lipbalm) but this ruddyness has gotten the best of me. I picked up this PF Correcting Powder in Translucent just yesterday. I put on my natural everyday moisturizer, and started to apply this correcting powder to my face. At first, it seemed that the powder was too light for my skin, but once I got it worked in, It really brightened (not lightened) my face. My under eye circles faded out, my blackheads almost disappeared, and my ruddyness vanished. I feel very put together and clean, my face feels light and soft to the touch. I do not feel greasy or weighed down by this powder. I'd recommend anyone with un-eveness to try this correcting powder out, especially those with fair skin. Though, I'm not sure how this Translucent option would work for those with darker skin tones.

I have rosacea & dark circles. I have tried many concealers & correctors & been disappointed. The others would not actually cover anything or cover for very long or would become cakey looking. I thought that there was no way for me to have a flawless complexion again. I researched online for affordable makeup for people with rosacea & sensitive skin & many recommended Physicians Formula & bonus that I could get it locally. I got the combo that had this correcting powder. Wow! Since hitting my mid-40's & having hormone hi-jinks do a number on my previously good skin, I had been embarassed by how my skin looked a lot of the time. Also, many of the products had made everything worse. Not this one! My skin looked flawless without a hint of redness or darkness & was very natural looking. It also lasts a long time on. I've even use this corrector alone to even out the red. Even better, since I began using this brand, my skin is in better shape & healthier than before.

I was amazed when I tried this product. It truly does cover and even out my skin for my best results. With previous products, it's been a challenge to balance my skintone and camouflage any redness without looking cakey. Using enough foundation in order to cover properly has been looking awful as are spot concealers. The key is to get the right color. Creamy natural is perfect for me; whereas Creamy Natural in the Airbrushed pressed powder is just a tad too dark (I use Translucent in the Airbrushed). Using the right brush plays a crucial role in results, (moisturizer too), I get my best results applying it with a fluffy powder brush. When I used a finishing brush it didn't even the skin out as it does with my fluffy brush. This is a real gem, and looks absolutely gorgeous over top the Mineral Wear Talc-Free Airbrushed Pressed Powder. I was amazed that in various lighting conditions, I saw no crepey or cakey texture. It just looks like beautiful real skin.

I'm not kidding when I say this stuff is a CHAMP!! It totally corrects any unevenness and redness on my face without leaving me feeling like I have a TON of product on! Also works wonders for shine control!
