Brush is small and tight, allowing a quick application. Color is sublte black with charcoal overtones, very natural looking. Absolutely non-irritating for my very light and sensitive blue eyes. Comes off very easily without unecessary pulling on lashes. Previously used Almay and there is absolutely no comparison, this is so much better. Great price
