quality consistency

Okay, I have to say I have been using this (talc-free mineral face powder, translucent) for good 10 years. As I am sure a lot of people do I have strayed and tried this and that. A lot more expensive products, but I always come back to this. It is simply the best! People compliment me on my skin and are surprised when I tell them I am wearing makeup! That's how it should be. Makeup should make you look and feel good without being seen. I never write reviews! But for a good year now I have a problem with the translucent powder. I had to throw it out 4 times because the color was only sitting on top, not all the way thru. Beneath it was only the yellow product all the way thru to the bottom. No color! I am at the point I don't want to buy it anymore. In the package it looks alright until you start using it you can't tell. What is going on? Does anybody else have this problem? I have rosacea and very sensitive skin and this product does not irritate at all. Please fix!

False advertisement.- a complete disappointment!

Considering this brand (Physician's Formula) is claimed to be "hypoallergenic", I can't emphasize enough how EXTREMELY disappointing it is that this pressed powder contains parabens- a known skin allergen for people with sensitive skin. It can cause flare-ups of skin irritation, contact dermatitis, and rosacea <br />I'm one of those people with sensitive skin, which is why I need hypoallergenic makeup. To my dismay, my skin has had adverse reactions of painful, skin-damaging cystic acne each time after using this product. Next time, I'll be sure to read the ingredients. Apparently, hypoallergenic doesn't REALLY mean hypoallergenic.

My Beauty Staple

I love this product! I get it in Beige and it blends great with my biracial skin (black and white)! It covers pigmentation very well. I have a few dark old scars from skin picking moments. This really covers without being heavy. I can breathe in it. I even can workout in it and it stays in place! It washes off easily but it wont rub off/transfer or sweat off! I love this! I haven't broke out at all in the month time frame I have been using it, and I have even slept in it! Make sure you use a little lotion or primer before for better coverage.
