Hi Joanna. I'm asian, probably medium skin. I am looking to get the spf 50 foundation powder and am unsure about what shade I should get. Thanks very much

Hi!  It's hard to tell what shade would be the best fit without seeing your skin in person. It sounds like the Translucent Medium shade might be a nice fit for you. Good luck!

I recently started buying the eye makeup. My first set of liner pencils were good but my second one made my eyes burn and water so I can't use it. Why?

That's strange as all Physicians Formula products are hypoallergenic. You want to cease use of the product, and you may want to check in with your dermatologist.  Also, it's important to never share eye makeup or brushes, as germs and infections can be spread this way.

Can you give me a quick easy answer for the best day to night skin regimin for normal, early 30's skin?

Hi!  This would be a great question for Dr. Meghan O'Brien, the Physicians Formula Consulting Dermatologist. You can ask your question here: http://www.physiciansformula.com/en-us/ask-our-derm.html.  One thing that is a skincare must is to NEVER leave the house without SPF!

Hi Joanna, I have brown eyes and a medium skin tone and I have the shimmer eyeliner for brown eyes and I was wondering what color eye shadow looks good with the purple eyeliner?

I'd recommend using brown, taupe and copper shades.  These will nicely complement your eye color but won't compete with the pop of color in your purple eyeliner. The purple eyeliner will add some fun to your look!

Hi Joanna , well u recommended for me the pf youth boasting powder to use cause of the fine lines I got, my question is would I be able to use it alone cause it says on it step3 and To use it to cover foundation and 1 more question would I be able to wear bronzer over it still wrk gd for my fine lines?? Thank

Great question! For best results, we recommend using it with the Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Foundation; however, you can use the powder alone.  It will still work to make skin look more youthful. And yes, to your second question! You can certainly use bronzer over the Youthful Wear Powder for a luminous glow.

Which one of your mascaras are hypoallergenic?

All of the Physicians Formula mascaras are hypoallergenic.

hi -i'm 51 years old with light skin, hazel eyes and honey toned lght brown hair.i wanted to try the 2 in one eyeliner with the lash boosting serum but i wanted a color reccomendation for a liner that would compliment my eyes but not be a harsh look for my age.thanks

Hi!  The Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum in Deep Brown will work nicely for you. It's dark enough to make the eyes pop, but the brown is a little softer than the black.  It will loook gorgeous with your coloring as well!

Are any of your mascaras oil free?

Yes, the Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Mascara Duos are!

My questions are in two categories. For a man's face and without being noticable, what product would you recommend to even out skin tone. To reduce lines?

To even out skin tone, I would look for a lightweight tinted moisturizer, such as the Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15.  It will provide a bit of color without being too heavy or cakey,  SPF 15 protection and a matte finish.  If you're looking to reduce fine lines, it's always a good idea to check with your dermatologist.  It's a perfect question for Dr. O'Brien!

How can I apply eye make up to compensate for drooping upper lid? I am 61 years old and I am considering surgery but in the meantime what can I do?

Great question! The key here is to apply a shimmery cream or bone colored shadow or highlighter to the brow bone to give a "lifting" effect.  I also like to line the upper and lower wetlines to add eyes definition.  I love to use the Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel CreamLiners for this.  The formula is incredible - super long lasting and there are a variety of hues to compliment your specific eye color.  Good luck!
