I love the coverage I get with this powder. Due to having combination skin(dryer in winter, oilier in summer) I use primer that fills in fine lines and then the PF BB or CC cream before using the Mineral Wear loose powder, then I finish the whole look off with a translucent Mineral Powder(after using all of my other cosmetics) I definitely recommend PF Mineral Wear loose powder. The coverage is nice, you can control how much coverage you need because the powder is buildable and very blendable. I definitely recommend wearing a primer that fills in fine lines and wrinkles if you have them, this powder (as do most) tends to fall into those lines and cause you to look older than you are.
I am in my mid-40s and have very sensitive, fair skin. I have been loyal to high end makeup for over 20 years because of my reaction to drugstore makeup in my teen years. I am fed up with paying for high end makeup and made a commitment to find a reasonable alternative after all of these years of loyalty. I have learned a lot about which chemicals irritate my skin on my journey but I think my new makeup line has just become Physicians Formula! This PF makeup is similar to BareMinerals foundation for me. I wear the PF powder over primer and build it up to the coverage I want. It is quick and easy to apply (using my own brush and a little bowl because the PF container is cumbersome and truly a terrible design.) This makeup holds up well to the Georgia heat and humidity, does not make my face slick or too dry, does not look like it is just sitting on top of my skin, and does not accentuate my wrinkles. And, it has not irritated my skin. THANK YOU, PF!
After searching for months to find a foundation that not only matched my skintone, but left me with a natural-looking almost no-makeup look, I've found the perfect fit! This powder covers up my flaws (acne, redness, scarring) while not looking like I'm wearing a mask. Plus: my face doesn't feel clogged up and it can breathe. My skin is actually improving since using this! A+.
I'm not giving this a full five star review, however, because the brush that is included is terrible. It's very stiff and small, which makes it hard to buff the powder into your skin. I highly recommend throwing the brush out and using PF's Airbrushing Kabuki Brush instead. They're perfect for each other!
So my friend gave this to me because it didn't match her skin tone, and I used it the day I got it. It went on nice, felt light, not too cakey. After a few hours of having it on, I realized my face really itched. I thought that it was just my skin breaking it in, it will be gone in a week. So after a few weeks of using it, I decided to stop due to irritation. I have heard so many good things about Physicians Formula, and I'm sad I have to say I don't like this very much. I will probably use it in my 'Pan Project' because it doesn't irritate me that much anymore, but I will break out and become red from this. I do like it in some ways, glad I have it, but wouldn't buy it again.
This is the best thing for my face I use to buy the really expensive stuff and then I just didnt want to buy that stuff any more I want to be cheap and this stuff is the best stuff ever I love it it covers what I want with out the heavy cakie stuff it doesnt go into your lines when you wear it hafe the day it stayes where you want it intell you wash it off. If you want a makeup that wont cake into your lines and you want something that stays in place and wont make you look like you have a lot of make up on your face this is the stuff for you
