Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have been trying I have been trying to find a good liquid eyeliner that doesn’t make my eyes water but has good pigment, lasts and goes on easily. This is is pretty good. It goes on super easy and with the pen tip doesn’t get in your lashes (the way other do for me). It is not super pigmented, especially over certain shadows if you use them first and I do usually go back over it with a eyeliner pencil to make it look matte and more intense. This one doesn’t bother my eye but with my sensitive eyes they do water a lot and this doesn’t hold up to the watering (nothing does for me). I have only tried it in the brown but would like to try it in black and see if that works better for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don't know why more people aren't talking about this eyeliner! This is an affordable dupe to the Kat Von D tattoo liner. Similar to the tattoo liner, the pen has a brush tip applicator. I probably won't be able to use any other eyeliner. This eyeliner is nice and pigmented and goes onto the eye evenly (no weird extra deposits). Because there is a brush tip, you'll have sharp wing every time, even as the product starts to dry out. When I wore eyeliner almost every day the eyeliner would last me about 2 months. At half the price of KVD and Stila, I'm more than happy to repurchase. I've been through 3 eyeliners so far.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I tried this twice I tried this twice before returning it. The first time I used it it came off especially in the corners after following instructions. I was excited to try a new eyeliner and I admit I am very picky about liquid eyeliners and tend to stick to the Stila tried and true one but am eager to find a cheaper alternative. The color black was very light, dry, and didn't stay put. I thought maybe it was just because of something with my makeup that day so tried again another day and determined I was going to return it sadly. Maybe I just have very oily eyelids so it doesn't work for me. I can't speak for the lash boosting aspect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 〰 I purchased this 〰 I purchased this from Ulta (it’s on sale atm for $8!) I kind of took a shot in the dark but the online reviews were fantastic and I wholeheartedly agree. It’s got a super black pigment that applies easily with the felt brush tip. It dries fast and evenly with remarkable precision. It’s also not a chore to remove at the end of the day as some waterproof products can be. This product claims to be enriched with lash-boosting complex that improves the growth of lashes. I’d say I contribute hair growth to my prenatal vitamins and hormones, including lash growth but I don’t disagree. It’s vegan, cruelty free. I love that I use this almost daily since June and it does WERK.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from There was nothing ultra There was nothing ultra black about this. I absolutely hated it and returned it after one day. It didnt even stay on a whole day. Pros: It was a great value and easy to apply. The applicator is great, and was sadly one of the better applicators Ive used, so Im heartbroken the product itself is so terrible. Cons: The color isnt very black to begin with. It flaked off within hours and wore very patchy. Which means it doesnt matter how good the applicator is if it has no staying power and no pigmentation. I am currently trying out Honest Liquid Eyeliner instead; that seems to be a much better product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best eyeliner i have ever used HANDS DOWN! i have tried Tarte, two face, Maybelline, you name it. but this liner is amazing i do a cat eye a lot in my typical makeup routine and this has amazing precision. it also dries fast so there is absolutely no smudging, not even if you sneeze immediately after! It also last alllllll day, seriously you can go to work at 7am and then go for drinks that night with no touch ups and when you get home it will still look like you just applied it! it doesn't even rub off onto the top of the lid! It lasts for a long time too, i am still working on my first tube that i have had for over a year. it has a shaker ball inside so it never clumps up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this years ago and stopped because I preferred the Stila liner for how it applies, but now I'm looking at going back because I got SO many compliments on my lashes when I was using it, and it was a fraction of the price! The tip on this one is a brush tip rather than a stiff felt tip - the thicker version of this is a stiffer felt tip with a soft point, so if that's what you prefer or are a beginner with eyeliner pens, I think that's the better one for you. I noticed results in about a month, and never had any of the bad effects reported with some of the other lash serums; no irritation or redness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS EYELINER IS SOOOO GOOOOD. My new favorite!! I was skeptical to buy it but Walmart was out of my usual [product:nyx-matte-liquid-liner]. My cousins recommended i pick this up bc she used it in the past and loved it. When I got home I immediately swatched it on my hand and was sad to see the first swipe bled but I did two more and it was fine and didn’t budge when I tried to clean it off! I was excited to try it on. The next day I did my eyeliner and WOW it was so easy and clean and nicely pigmented. It also didn’t bleed on my eyes. I tried it two more times and I can certainly say I love this liner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many very beautiful/talented women before me have given a "thumbs up" to this eyeliner. I'm not certain that it has improved the growth and fullness of my lashes, as it claims, but it is a go-to eyeliner. The brush tip is pure genius, with enough hairs and heft to make application a total dream! Some brands offer brushes which are thick and too unwieldy for use; others are too timid. Physicians Formula gets it right! The formula is hypo-allergenic and dermatologist-approved, so it won't create problems. It is water-resistant and fragrance-free. It will leave you with a great line--thin or thick--for many hours. And it's budget-friendly. Try it yourself for amazing results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like this one very much. I have the brown color. It's nice for a natural look. I don't know if it was actually lash boosting. A couple things that I did not like is that it doesn't come in a waterproof formula. My eyes water a lot and irritated easily so if that is an issue for you this may not be the eyeliner for you. Also if you are wearing it on a hot day and your skin gets oily like mine this may travel into your tear duct and irritate your eye. One thing that I really liked about it is that it was the first time I tried to apply liquid liner . If you have never used liquid eyeliner before this was really nice because I had great control when applying it and it doesn't Clump or blob.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have tried sooo many eyeliners over the past 10 plus years of doing makeup, and no eyeliner I have EVER used up until this point has even come close to the Physicians Formula Lash Boosting Eye Liner in Ultra Black! First off it's priced amazingly at $8 where I live. Not only that but it actually lives up to its claim of being ultra black. It goes on so smoothly being a brush applicator, and it's bristles are fine and come to a thin point which helps even the most amateur makeup users nail that perfect wing that everyone wants to achieve! It dries down to a pretty matte finish with just a hint of sheen, but it is not wet looking either. I can't say enough positive things about this eyeliner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is probably my favorite liquid liner from the drugstore. I really enjoy the wings I can do with this, and I’ve even used it in conjunction with other eyeliners that weren’t fine enough to do sharp wings. It’s not 100% smudge-proof and if I rub hard enough I can smudge it around, but I always don’t have to worry about it staining or being a pain to get off when it’s time to remove my makeup. Plus the brand is cruelty-free which now a days for me purchasing beauty products is a must. I don’t doubt that I will be repurchasing this once I use up some other open eyeliners in my collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my go-to eyeliner for everyday wear. I can use this with my contacts no problem. It goes on smooth and seamlessly. I never have any problems. My only complaint is that this product tends to dry up quite quickly. My other complaint is that I'm starting to see it less and less in the store so I'm wondering if they're starting to fade it out. No pun intended. The product wears all day long and I never have to do any retouching. This is hands down my favorite of all eyeliners. The tip is precise and never seems to break down. Like I said the product will dry up before anything else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, but make sure you get this in ULTRA BLACK and not regular black. The regular black looks more gray colored. Goes on smooth, but I do have to go over some areas a couple times so for that reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars. Not sure if this really helps give your lashes a boost or not, but none of my other liners even claim to do that so I love the idea that it may be helping them! I really prefer my MAC Brushstroke liner over this one just because it goes on smoother, but it's also twice the price so if you're not wanting to spend $22 for a liner give this one a try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is probably one of the most underrated products ever! It is by far the best eyeliner I have ever used. I’ve tried so many drugstore and high end liners and this has them all beat. It is has a very precise and tapered point but is flexible and easy on the eye. The formula is more wet and thin than others I have tried but it dries very black. It is waterproof and smudge proof after it sets. Most amazingly, I see a noticeable difference in the length and thickness of my lashes with continued use! I apply like any normal liner but the lash boosting serum really helps nourish the lashes and promotes growth. This is my holy grail liner and I keep coming back to it after trying all the liners at sephora.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I absolutely love this eyeliner! I use it every day! Look, I hate an eyeliner that is suppose to be black but comes out grey. This DOES NOT do that. I also HATE an eyeliner that transfers to the crease or down your face (shout out to my hooded eye gals). THIS liner stays until it needs to come off! Another thing is that the felt tip of eye liners usually wear down/change shape over time and THAT SUCKS bc toward the end of your liners life, your looks pay for it! Not this liner! I've had it for a year, use it daily, and the tip is still as perfect as it was the day I bought it!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don't use much grocery store branded makeup except for this beauty. I purchased this after having several issue with high end brands either discontinuing what worked for me or trying products that irritated my very sensitive eyes. This is a great product for anyone with eye irritation that still wants to wear a liquid eye liner. It goes on easily and has a really nice Japanese style brush vs a felt tip. The color is really good as well. The only issue that I have experience has been putting it on over some metallic eye shadows. It has a really tough time going on over metallics and afterwards some of the shadow is stuck to the brush tip so you have to wipe it off which does waste some of the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from finally the best OMG I have been searching for years to find a truly hypoallergenic eyeliner that was also waterproof. I even switched to some formulas that were less hypoallergenic and then my eyes started to itch. this is the winner!!! I can't even believe it! I put this stuff on, no eye itching and then hours later I took a hot shower after getting home and my makeup still looks perfectly beautiful! please don't ever stop making this stuff! it seems like all of the really good hypoallergenic makeup goes off the market eventually. this is the first actually waterproof liquid eyeliner that is truly hypoallergenic my eyes don't even itch I'm actually going to fall asleep with this stuff on my face because I don't even notice it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ‘New Look’ = Different Color I went to get a fresh Eye Booster and saw the ‘New Look’ packaging. The eyeliner tube is identical to the one I had. Turns out it’s a different shade/color. Left ‘New’ Deep Brown - grayish black in my estimation. Right ‘Old’ Actual Deep Brown. Sad that I’ll have to give up my tried and true in search of actual Deep Brown once again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Youtuber Highly Recommended!! I purchased this liner due to a recommendation from a youtuber! What I like about this is the brush. It helps the liner glide on smoothly!! Almost like a high end liner. Because of health issues, I do not leave the house very often which means I do not wear makeup everyday. So, I can not give a review on the booster. I suggest getting the "Ultra Black" if you prefer a rich black. I actually top off this liner with another liquid liner to intensify the color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this liquid liner!! The black is super pigmented, and the felt tip is nice and precise. It came fully saturated with product (not dried out like some other brands I’ve tried) and the felt tip is long and resists fraying. This has been the best liner for getting a wing that I’ve tried, and I’m honestly pretty awful at the whole winged eye look. I like to set the line with a bit of black eyeshadow to help it last, but I’ve had no issues with fading so far. Phys Formula goes on sale at the drug store fairly often, so you can usually find a good deal on it, too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been using the Kat Von D Eyeliner in Trooper for the past few months. I keep feeling like it is going to run out and I needed a back up. Rather than spend $20 on another eyeliner, I decided to try the physicians formula eye booster instead as I had heard great things online. I was pleased to find out it had a brush very similar to the Kat Von D eyeliner that I have been using. I feel like it may not be quite as dark as Kat’s formula, and is not as budge proof (I have wing struggle some days and am able to quickly wipe away the wing if it isn’t what I want...not alway a bad thing). It is a very good liner however, I find it easy to draw a line and it does stay on all day. Price considered, I would buy this one again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For a drug store eyeliner, this is pretty good. For the price you pay, the payoff of the liner is really good. Nice and Opaque. If you like the Vinyl look this liner is for you. The Brush tip is the best part because it does make it easier to apply as well as get more product out versus a felt tip. I have not experienced that much bleeding, but it does bleed so if you’re into doing artistic things with liner then I would avoid, but for just everyday winged eyeliner its great. I would definitely repurchase this product as it a great bargain for what you get!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a good basic liquid liner and a good one for newbies to practice with. It has a fantastic brush tip and the formula is very comfortable. You do have to be careful to mix it well though out or the serum will separate from the pigment a bit. A few good shakes as you go keeps it well mixed. While it isn’t the deepest pigmentation, it lasts well and is easy to remove. As for the effectiveness of the serum itself? With regular use of this eyeliner a did notice a bit of a difference in fullness for my eyelashes but it was certainly nothing drastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The application of this liquid liner is sooo smooth! It gives a fine line in a really pigmented black shade without too much hassle, even for someone with shaky hands like me. The long felt tip helps smooth out any wobbly strokes, and the fine point helps me get into the inner corners without creating too much bulk. The price is a bit steep for a drugstore brand, but it goes on sale fairly often so I managed to scoop mine up during a 40% off sale at Rite Aid. I’m so glad I did! This comes highly recommended by youtuber Thataylaa, and I can see why!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is an okay eyeliner. The thing I like about this eyeliner is that it has a brush tip instead of a felt, making it so much easier to create a wing since it would make the lines so much smoother. The downside to this eyeliner is that it's not waterproof (though I've heard this brand released a waterproof version) and that it's not that black. The pigmentation isn't very strong in this product so you might have to go over your lines a few times. I've used better eyeliners that are more opaque than this. Not a bad liner, but not my favorite.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is pretty wonderful. Been looking for a dupe for all of my Kat Von D products as I can't support an anti vaxxer. This has become my cold weather liquid liner. It has a brush tip which I prefer, and it glides on like a dream and is very black. My only issue is that my skin is too oily for it in the heat, so when it gets too hot out it is prone to smudging. But doesn't budge in the cold, so if you have dry skin you should be good to go. For me, it's my favourite thing in the cold and as I live in Canada that is most of the year anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have used this stuff for YEARS. I've found it beats every liquid eyeliner I've ever tried, including every one of them from Sephora. I'm trying to make myself like the Kat Von D liquid eyeliner, and the store associate advertised it as having a very fine point (because I like to build my eyeliner up -- not start out with a thick line), but it's point in no way beats the physician's formula one. This is, so far, my HG liquid eyeliner. I'm not sure if the lash booster serum in it works or not, but I always get compliments on my eyelashes, even without mascara, and have people ask me if I have eyelash extensions on. So there's that lol. Plus it is VERY affordable! 5 stars![product:physicians-formula-eye-booster-2-in-1-lash-boosting-eyeliner-serum]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've tried several different liquid liners (in both pen and traditional format), but I keep coming back to this one. It's so easy to apply, and the tip has the right amount of flexibility and firmness to create a perfect wing. The color is black and fairly matte (definitely not shiny but I feel like other matte liquid liners, such as the one from NYX, come off as more matte). It has decent staying power so long as your eyes aren't watery. I also like to say that my lashes do appear a bit fuller and longer when I'm using this than when I'm using another one, but it may just be in my head. Finally, for being in a pen format, this product lasts a really long time before drying out. I love both the black and brown colors and would definitely recommend!

How do you get it to dispense the eyeliner? My brush has no black eyeliner on it and I’ve tired everything

Asked by: Loveydove
It's important to vigorously shake the eyeliner pen several times. Then, get one square of tissue paper and immediately after having shaken the eyeliner pen, make a small line on the paper rotating several times. This works for me.

Does this usually run out in like two weeks.

Asked by: Cindy
It might last about a month.   When it starts to run out, flex the brush within the cap before you cap it.  It helps to get a little more liquid into the brush for next time.  It does seem to run out quicker than it should but I won’t change brands.

Does this still come in brown?  I don’t see any color choices here and am assuming this one is black.

Asked by: Liftemup

Does PF waterproof mascara come in brown  or deep brown.  It seems I can only fine the waterproof mascara in a ultra black shade .
