Rated 3 out of 5 by from I bought this thinking I bought this thinking it would be a good product to reapply SPF throughout the day. I don't think it works for that purpose. I put it on over a mineral sunscreen and it looks really unfortunate. I can't use this for reapplication and will probably go back to a different, more expensive product. The packaging is pretty good but it can get messy. I like that it comes with a mirror under the product. However, the powder breaks up very easily, especially if you use the provided brush. There are holes on the bottom of the compact so I don't want to put this in my purse. I would not use the brush this comes with, it's very stiff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent powder! The mineral powder covers old scars and redness. I love everything about this powder except for the fact that I need a lighter shade. A shade in classic ivory would be great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really nice! Great product but poor packing, hinge broke on lid and thus powder since they were connected, same happened to my talc free bronzer. Like the design but almost useless once it came apart. Perfect color in creamy natural. Causes a bit of clogged pores which is disappointing since I bought this specifically so it wouldn't but doesn't as bad as the CC and tinted moisturizers. Nice replacement for Bare Mineral and very affordable. Will continue to use but as usual powder can hard if any flaky dry skin patches or raised acne bumps.. Does have a really nice coverage and glow nonetheless

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes My Face Look Flawless! I have sensitive, combination-to-oily, acne prone skin. Also, I am a Retin-A user as well. And, while using Retin-A, the usage of sun protection (the higher the better) is a definite must! Because I am highly acne prone, I have to be very cautious about what makeup I put on my face. Many makeups that I have tried over the years have broken me out terribly. And, this is why, I have become a lot more selective about what I do use on my face now. Breaking out at any age is no fun! This powder is truly one of the best that I have ever used. It's smooth in texture, provides a high level of sun protection, and it simply makes my face look absolutely flawless in any light! This is one powder that you simply can't go wrong with!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought specifically bought this product to add SPF protection on top of my full face in the summer. I think it does a great job at protecting my skin from redness and sunburns. However, I see a lot of people saying it's a no for setting powder and I haven't tried it as that personally, as I finish my full face with my regular routine and setting powder+spray. BUT it really goes great over my oily skin + wear&tear of a full 8hr face of makeup! I reapply it throughout the day because of sun exposure and it doesn't appear Cakey or irritate my sensitive skin. Sometimes, I even reapply it when I don't have a full face and I forgot my sunscreen. It's a great addition for protection!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I just purchased this SPF 30 pressed powder for the summer ☀️ and so far, so good! I use this powder to set my undereye concealer and it works great. I use the [product:elf-cosmetics-small-tapered-brush] with this powder and it gives a nice airbrushed finish. This pressed powder goes on smooth. Since it’s a pressed powder it is wonderful for on the go. It doesn’t feel cakey but rather, lightweight and natural. I have not used the applicator that came with this powder but it’s a nice idea for on the go especially in the summer months. I also really like the hidden mirror. I purchased the shade, Translucent, which I will note has a slight pinkish undertone. Also - a little product goes a long way so keep in mind when you are applying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened??? I was in love with the product. It was the perfect color and amazing coverage. Well, something changed. I am not sure if it was a bad batch or if you changed the recipe... But it is so dark and does not go on as well. Blends awful now. I will buy another and update later... 6E02 on back...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I had switched sooner! KMart was closing and I've always wanted to try this, but was too afraid I wouldn't like it for $14 & guess what!? I LOVE IT! Wish I had tried it sooner! It covers perfectly and lasts! Also, before I used this I was using Lancome & then they discontinued my make up so then I used the Body Shop (so fairly expensive products) and i had a rosy color on my cheeks all the time. After about a week of using this I noticed that the rose color went away :) My face looks so much healthier! And this is actually cheaper than what i was using! Talk about a score!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from more shades please! I bought it, tried it, LOVED IT. Its free of talc, parabens, and mineral oil...loaded with great SPF...contains wonderful plant extracts... and doesn't leave that dry tight feeling the regular mineral wear leaves on me. But i still had to return it because the shade was just wrong. And exchanging it would not have helped. Please create more shades or add a light bronzer, even. I was so disappointed to have to return it. :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Product I really like the powder. It doesn't settle into imperfections, nor does it get cake-y. I also like the higher SPF, I actually like this better than powders that I've paid $40 for. The only thing is the applicator & packaging. The applicator is useless, I've replaced it with a sponge. The packaging is bulky & not user friendly. I dislike the mirror folding out separately underneath the powder pan. It would be better if the compact were smaller, or at least less bulky, & the mirror was simply connected to the powder pan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So this is a light weight formula but does add good coverage. I use it over foundation & it doesn't make me look cakey but makes everything look smooth. I also use this on no make up days and again it makes my skin look smooth as well as giving me some coverage. I think the price is fair for how well the product works & the fact that it does go a long way. I always use a brush ( not the one it comes with ) when applying it and it seems to give the best look to the skin, but I dont normally use a sponge to apply a powder like this one either. But I do highly recommend giving this one a try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Because my skin has become dry, it has not been looking that great with my previous mineral makeup (with moisturizer), or even liquids for that matter, and I was debating whether I needed to give up on powders. I saw this product and thought I'd try it. It gives beautiful creamy-looking coverage and finish that is not at all cakey or thick-looking. I love that it does not contain parabens, talc, glycols, etc. and that it does include botanicals and some moisture which works beautifully on my sensitive, dry skin. The look is superb, and the best I have seen my skin look in a very long time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Okay powder, not great, just okay. I purchased this in light to use as a setting powder. I tried this over two other brands' liquid foundations with different consistencies and over PF mineral powder foundation. I disliked it all. The finish was gorgeous when it was first applied, but creased under my eyes horribly and caked up everywhere else after an hour or two. Also this product contains glitter, not just a light shimmer. I will not repurchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cakey Was looking for a new powder to replace my covertoxten50 powder. I’m only 32 with good skin, but this powder caked into every imperfection, acne scar, and fine line, making me look like I was 20 years older than I am. Not cute. I wish they would bring the covertoxten50 powder back because it was much better than this heavy cake.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from One day use and won't buy again. Physician's Formula has failed me once again. This powder does give you an airbrush look however the color is not accurate. "Translucent" is not translucent at all, it has a more yellow undertone ending in what looks like a bronze. If you are ivory or a tone darker from fair or porcelain it may work for you, but for my pink undertone, white skin whose version of a bronze is looking like a lobster, it does not work at all. It also irritated a small breakout zone that was healing and gave me a new one on my temple. That said, once the product set in it melted into the skin beautifully and gave a nice satin glow to the skin. Very powdery though so if you use a brush it will get everywhere!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s amazing This is the best coverage and also spf protection. Your pores will look flawless. I used this 5 years ago and I don’t know why I stopped. I’m back. Thank god. It’s still amazing. Creamy natural is great if you are white but can tan. If you are pasty white this color is not for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only thing I'm not allergic to .... I suffer very dry skin / exczema / allergic reactions to virtually everything (including the OCTINOXATE sunscreens out there, I can only use Zinc based ones). This is the only foundation I can use and get a little coverage to even out tone and also have sun protection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wasteful I prefer the loose powder, but it was out of stock. These compacts have so much waste! The plastic base is bulky compared to the product they give you. Please stop including a brush with each purchase--it's unnecessary!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I want to give it 5 stars, but I can only use it for specific things. This powder is VERY full coverage. It is easy to overdo it, and that will look really bad. I would never put this on my whole face. I use it with a small brush to cover certain areas before I finish with an all over face powder. Like under the eyes and blemishes. It has amazing coverage. And it stays put! You could use this instead of concealer. I use it on really bad skin days, no one will ever know you are breaking out like a teenager. The coverage on this is 10 out of 10.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me This stuff hates my skin. I’ve tried it a few times and at first application, I do get that airbrushed look but as the day goes on, it dries out my skin even more than it already is. I only bought it because I ran out of my favorite powder, which I can only get online. I will not be repurchasing..I can’t even get it to wipe away, so using this as a setting powder is a bad idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great makeup!!! I have used MAC for 10 years, then I wanted to try mineral, I used avon mineral, tried BE, and liked sephoria. PF was reccommeded to me by a friend who always looked flawless so I tried it and have been very pleased. It covers amazingly, and for the price I can not beat it!!! I have been purchasing a set with the compact, bronzer, and blush for a steal of $20!!! I could'nt even by my previous compacts for that price! I hope that they don't stop selling the set, and this compact I would be soo sad. Soo try it you will love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT I use this with mineral brush set, constant buffing, I use it in 2 colours the translucent and creamy natural. The secret it to apply a little little bit at a time and buff like your life depends on it; think bare minerals. I was surprised by the texture at first (almost slightly damp or tacky) but found that that's why it works so well. I read a mention of a smell and neither of mine have that smell. If I continue to use a powder foundation I will repurchase but right now I am loving the Nude Wear foundation and the BB cream.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misses the mark I want to start by saying I LOVE PF... especially the best bronzer EVER! But, this powder just doesn't cut it. The translucent powder still shows white. I have been using less and less each time, but it does not blend well. There are other powders out there that are a better quality and better price. Sad, but pass on this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this brand overall, mainly because not only are their products effective, but they are conscious of their ingredients. This foundation is the only powder foundation I can find that does NOT contain talc, which is a known carcinogen. Mineral Wear provides great coverage, but is still very light, plus it has SPF 30 in it for added sun protection. It is a bit on the pricier side as far as drugstore brands go, but considering the higher quality of the makeup, I am more than willing to pay for it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Translucent Shade Too Yellow & Too Dark I was so excited to see this product in a pressed form since I have loved the loose powder version. However, I was highly disappointed to see that Translucent Light wasn't available, as it is for the loose version. I figured how much of a difference can there be?"........well, the translucent is not only a lot darker, its also much more yellow. I gave it 2 stars for effort but PF needs to remember that not everyone has a medium tone or a yellow size does NOT fit all!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! I have replaced my liquid foundation for this powder for everyday use. It goes on quickly and easily and provides enough coverage that all I need under it is concealer! Love it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Need more colours! I love the perfect satin finish of this powder, but it's a little light for me. I really wish they made more/darker colours. Then it would be perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST POWDER This is the best powder ever! It give a nice glow and makes my skin feel hydrated and just healthy! I got translucent which give great coverage for NC15 skin. I can't say enough good things. I think the talc in other powders was making me look dry and i had no idea how much until trying this. It melds into your skin and has lasting power. I've never put a power on my face that made my face feel so good. It almost is moisturizing. Please dont ever stop making this

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I remember when I had awful acne scarring, this was the highest coverage powder that I could find. And for the best price, too. Love that it has SPF, and the compact makes it easy to throw in your bag and go. Only con is that it made my skin slightly dry, so I always made sure to use a hydrating primer or moisturizer underneath. It helped with that. Works amazingly with a kabuki brush. I also used a sponge too, if I wanted more natural/light to medium coverage.

Hello, is the creamy natural darker than beige, or is translucent darker? Which shades are darker and which is the darkest?

Asked by: Mcdd171291
Lightest to darkest is Translucent, Creamy Natural and Beige. I have all 3 because of my skin tone during the year. I mostly use Natural in the Fall and Spring when I have some color to my pale skin from either a fading suntan or exposure to the springtime sun.

What is the difference in color between creamy natural and beige?

Asked by: Lizzy 001
In the pictures above it looks like the creamy natural has a more pink undertone and the beige has a yellow undertone. The difference in pictures is very slight but on the skin it shows up, you shold buy the one that matches your undertone. Hope this helps :)
