Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had actually been curious about oil cleansers recently, but found a great cream cleanser that has been working great for my dry skin, so the search went on the back burner. The oil itself is very thick, and feels like it won't come off easily, but as soon as it touches water, it's gone. My main complaint is that with how thick it is, it doesn't fully remove mascara. It did great for everything else though. I do like feeling like it's better and more hydrating for my skin versus a makeup removing towelette though, and not as harsh. I still used a gentle cleanser after to get my mascara off and cleanse my pores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome affordable unique cleansing oil! Recently I’ve gotten into double cleansing so of course I had to pick this one up. Unlike most cleansing oils that are straight oil when pumped out this oil is sort of gel-like and thick which makes it less messy when applying. This product doesn’t emulsify when trying to rinse off so I took a wet microfiber washcloth and wiped my face and then rinsed to make sure I got it off. You should always use a regular cleanser when using oil cleansers anyway so it still came off and left no film in the end. Overall I love the formula and the packaging of this new line!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I was looking forward to this product being amazing but it was so disappointing. I tried using it after trying on some foundation and it didnt remove anything. The only way Ive found it works is if I remove the majority of my makeup with micellar water first, then use this, then another cleanser. It leaves an oily residue after rinsing and made me break out when I used it alone. I was sad because Ive heard so many good things about cleansing oils. Also, I have incredibly dry skin so I thought this would help with that. In the end I wasnt really thrilled with this. I received it from Influenster to review.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I'm always down for a good cleansing oil but I prefer to not have any facial oils (ie, skincare steps) combined with a cleansing product. Cleansing is sacred! When applying, the cleansing part of the oil washes off after emulsifying, leaving a mess of oil that is hard to wash off when using a second cleanser to properly cleanse away the gunk from the way. To me, 2-in-1 products drastically reduce the effective of either component, when combined. PF should have made this, without the facial oils added. The one star is for the packaging--the pump was great t control out the amount of product coming out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not an effective product It burns my skin and eyes and does not emulsify or remove my make up

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn’t take off my makeup I wanted to love this so bad. I love their matcha balm cleanser but this one was a fail. It dissolves makeup but then does not wash off with water, even when I shake it beforehand really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this double cleanse oil from Physicians Formula. It's the perfect first step cleanser in my double cleanse routine. I had never used a cleansing oil before so I was a little put off by the fact that you dont wet your face or hands before applying this but I ended up really loving it. It really clears out your pores and removes all of your makeup especially oil based products. This product is very gentle on your skin and leaves it feeling clean without feeling stripped or tight. I also love that this cleanser is part of Physicians Formulas Organic Wear line and that it has organic rosehip and aloe vera in it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality organic cleansing oil.

i have sensitive, acne prone skin. is this recommended?

Asked by: angela926
A common misconception is that oils are worse for acne prone skin and that isn’t true For me using oils instead of harsh cleaners has absolutely revamped my skin and made it clear and smooth At first the oil will work out your pores so it will get worse before it gets better but continue using it and believe me you will notice SUCH a difference Oils act as a barrier so you should always use oils last as part of your routine I use a coconut based moisturizer and eye cream and then oils as the last step Using this to take make up off and at the same time flushing it with vitamin c and help with hyperpigmentation is golden for my skin issueS I fully recommend this product it has everything you need
