Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bring back the brush applicator Please bring back the brush applicator... the new applicator is like having pressed powder which I do not like. Loose powder should always be applied with a brush. Let the peeps that like pressed use that sponge. Been using the loose powder PF for probably close to 20 years. (I’ve been trying to use my brush from the last container before the switch but it is difficult to get it into the small opening.) I will still recommend because I know you will switch the container back! Thank you!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seriously, Listen to your customers I have been using your loose powder for FIFTEEN years. No exaggeration, started to use in early high school and never found anything I liked more. I am now 31 and searching for new products. I do not understand why you would change the product so drastically and not seem to be listening to the terrible reviews. This is making me change my bronzer, mascara and everything from your line. Such a shame, you will definitely be losing customers because of this change. Hopefully you read these reviews and actually listen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing product for normal to dry skin I am in my late 28s with lots of fine wrinkles and quite a few dry patches. I Love this powered I use it on its own for more of a lite natural look or I can set my liquid foundation with it and it helps my skin look like healthy skin. The only reason it got 4 stars and not 5 is due to packaging I HATE everything about this packaging. I wish this came like the bare mineral Powder the smaller round container with a net and if you are gonna put an applicator in it I wish it was also flat and smaller. I buy this come home pry it open and place it in an old bare mineral container instantly because I can't handle the packaging but the formula itself is beautiful

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring Back The Other One !!! PLEASE !!!!! I could only use the Miner Wear Loose Powder in the other formula. I LOVED IT !! This one makes my face oily. I used the other one for soooooo long I dont even know how long I used it. This one I do not like. I cant get even coverage, it makes my face oily and the shade is off. I used Translicent Light in the other one and I BEGG YOU TO PLEASE BRING IT BACK !!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE This formula makes my skin break out. I am not sure why they decided to change the formula but they seriously NEED to bring back the other loose powder. I've used that one since I was 12 years old and it was my holy grail, however, this product does not come any where near that expectation. It makes my face drying and it shows all those horrible lines. Please bring back the old formula. If I could give this product a zero star I would.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New is not improved I have used the old Mineral Wear loose powder for years, and it was a great product, at a reasonable price. The new formula and packagin is sub par to the original. I have sensitive skin, and the new formula irritates my skin, and it does not provide a smooth, silky coverage. Please bring back the original formula. Will have to search for a new loose powder, bummer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New sponge is AWFUL!!! Did no one try this out before putting it on shelves?! This is so aggravating I literally did a deep growl as I was trying to use it and got it all over my shirt and my counter. Ive been using this for probably 15 years and now THIS!!! It’s soooo obviously NOT ok!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I've bought this several times in the past because I found that it is lightweight and easy to apply. It is also a very reasonable price. It's good for setting your concealer or covering up shine if you have oily skin. I like that it is lightweight so it does not make me look like I am wearing foundation on my face when I'm not (which some heavier powders do). The brush that comes with it is okay, good if you don't have anything better but if you already own nice brushes I would ditch this one. I wish that the packaging of this product wasn't so awkward. It's not really something that you would throw in your purse for touch ups later since it's so large.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back the old tried and true formula!! I have used PF loose powder for like 10 years now and can’t imagine why they’d change the formula like this! It now seems to get MUCH oilier and slides off my fave in some areas. Patchier than the old formula. And the colors are NOT the same. I have to mix these shades together to try to create a shade that matches me but it still never does so I have to put the powder on my neck now too. I hope they read these reviews and change it back!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back old formula - and translucent medium! Why, oh why, did you change the formula?? I have been using the loose mineral powder in translucent medium for years. The color was perfect!! The formula natural, easy to blend, made my skin look flawless, got compliments regularly. It was the ONLY foundation powder that worked on my uber sensitive, rosacea skin. I stocked up from an online retailer when I found out the old product was being discontinued. But, now I have to switch to the new version and creamy natural is NOT the right color for me. : ( so sad!! I’ll have to look elsewhere and find a brand new product. Disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back the old stuff. The sponge is terrible. The powder is terrible. The whole thing. I have been using physicians formula for 10 years, but not anymore. Lost a customer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Physicians Formula...go back to old formula!! I have been wearing the old formula for at least 6 years and it was very good on my acne prone sensitive skin. It gave perfect coverage and the color was so much like my natural skin tone. This new one doesn't have a good color for me. It' too orange looking. Also the formula seems weaker. I really hope they just go back for real.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from When I purchased this product at Walmart there were only 2 shades available. Natural beige turns orange on me but I lighten it with loose powder. It has a very natural, skin like finish which I really enjoy. I have acne prone skin & it does not make me break out. Although it does not completely cover my scarring i do like the coverage. If you're looking for something that's gonna cover everything I would skip this. I use this for everyday light makeup. It feels nice n smooth on my skin. I enjoy this formula I would just get a different shade. I don't like the brush it comes with. I put some product in the large lid & I dip my dampened beauty sponge. I would repurchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it all! I was obsessed with the old formulation, that is definitely true! I was absolutely a little bit wary to try the new formulation, as I am a routine based person that favours consistency haha. This particular shade somehow matches my skin so perfectly ... the undertones just match up beautifully! I also find this formulation quite long lasting as well! I've recently moved to a more humid climate, so I can't compare exactly, but I have to say, this powder also holds up after rigorous sessions swimming in the ocean... so there is that! Thank you for your amazing products!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lost a customer So sad PF! I've used your product for years and years. Now, I'm looking for other brands, Bare Minerals and others to use. Lost another dedicated customer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I recently started breaking out so I went to pick up the loose powder that works for me when i breakout and found they had changed the whole look and formula. It doesn't have any coverage and is just very poor quality. Please bring the old formula back. This new stuff sucks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate it They changed the container, applicator and i think the powder itself. My skin has been breaking out after using the same PF powder for 10 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA I have been using PF mineral wear for years. I have very sensitive skin and when I first found PF I was so excited that I could find a product that did not agitate my skin. And just when you think you have found the right product for you they go and change the formula and packaging. I agree with other reviews the new brush / sponge applicator STINKS and it is definitely harder getting the product out. The coverage and overall application of the new mineral wear does not compare with the old version and my skin has been more agitated and red. I have not used another brand in years, but am now looking for something else to switch to. Very sad having to leave a brand I trusted and could count on. I am disappointed PF. Time to listen to your consumers and bring back the old formula.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like this powder. But the reason I only give it four stars is because Im not a fan of the applicator it came with. I usually end up dumping some of the powder into the cap and using a brush or beauty blender to apply it. Other than that, I like the product itself. I was really just looking for a reasonably priced product that wouldnt irritate my sensitive skin and would reduce some shine. This fulfilled those requirements. However, I do with it was more portable so I may be trying another one of their powders with different application. But I do recommend Physicians Formula for sensitive skin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Out with the new! I have been searching every possible store for left overs of the former packaging and colours. Nothing is remotely similar with the new product including how it looks and works! I will never understand why companies think a good thing has to be changed. You have lost a lifelong customer in me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Want the old formula back I was extremely happy with the old formula. I totally hate the new one. Please bring the old one back, colors and brush.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from PLEASE bring back the old! I used the old Physicians Formula loose Mineral Wear for years - probably 15 years or more. It is the only thing in the world that doesn’t break me out. Now I can no longer find a shade to match my skin in this new stuff. Why oh why..... ??!!
Date published: 2019-11-04
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why the change? I loved the previous brush and container style. Fortunately the new formula hasn’t been as harsh on my skin as other readers. But for the life of me, I can’t seem to warm up to the new style! The foam applicator is horrible and the whole thing just makes a big mess. I tried to find the older style in stores but had no luck. Please switch back!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back the old formula PLEASE!!! I am with everyone else on the new product...I don't like it at all! I used the old loose powder for years and loved everything about it, why fix what's not broken!!
Date published: 2019-10-01
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Old package was better. Why fix something that isn’t broken. The new applicator is terrible. Have to throw it out.. still had my old brush and I’m using that BUT have to carry around both containers now so the brush won’t get dirty... AND there’s less product.... Terrible overall. I hope they take all these bad reviews into consideration and change it back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New but NOT improved This is sub par. Bummer the old one I’ve used for years and years is discontinued.
Date published: 2019-11-01
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Old powder was better Old powder was definitely better. The worst thing about the new powder is the sponge applicator. I put it straight into the trash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Makeup Powder I have been wearing this powder as a foundation for so many years now, it's the perfect shade for my pale skin and I dont get any breakouts from this makeup. It's so light and doesnt cake up on my face. I love this powder so much and recently found it hard to find the shade translucent light in any stores near me and was disappointed thinking it might have been discontinued but happy to find I can purchase it right from Physicians Formula website still, I would love it if stores in Windsor Ontario would stock this shade more but please dont ever discontinue this line or shade!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why don't you care about your customers? All the reviews are in line with what I am feeling, this new formula and packaging just don't cut it. The original with the brush applicator was my GO TO product, it was the only thing I would use most days. This new version doesn't have the same coverage or setting power and leaves me oily after a few hours. The old version kept me matte and flawless ALL DAY. Please bring back the old version and shades, can't you see you have so many customers begging for their favorite product?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Formula Sucks Like others have mentioned, I have been using the loose powder for so many years. I’d never been that dedicated to a beauty product before. But now the formula has changed, along with the packaging. It’s very annoying to use now. The powder is hard to get out, the sponge applicator is worthless, plus the new formula feels and looks different. Apparently it has sparkles in it now? I don’t want a sparkly face... Definitely going to be searching for a better product to use. Bummer!

What shade replaced translucent medium?  I am scared to try the new product after all the bad reviews!  I will go back to my old Lancome product if I do not like the new formula

Asked by: Andrea1234
My mom used to use the medium and she switched to the light as well and it looks good on her still and she is much darker than I am most of the time
