Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hydrating and lightweight wash of color. I am a brunette and my shade is Fair to Light or Light in the summer when I have a slight sunkissed tone. My skin type is normal to dry. I picked up this foundation in four shades; from Fair, Fair/Light, Light and Light/Medium. Fair would be great for redheads and Light to Medium would be great for those with a little more than a touch of a summer tan. The coverage is just enough to even skintone for a natural hydrated finish. It is only slightly buildable from a sheer to light coverage. It is not greasy or heavy feeling on the skin, thankfully. It's nice for every day wear, especially in the winter for dry to normal/dry skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect skin in a bottle I just picked this up from Walmart and after searching for my holy grail foundation for years, I think I've found it. This reminds me of an improved, better ingredient version of a Loreal favorite that was discontinued a few years ago. The finish is satin-matte with fingers or a brush, and a beautiful, skin smoothing finish with a damp sponge. My skin looks like Katie Jane Hughes on Instagram and I'm obsessed. I had also been waiting for a thin, weightless formula from the drugstore for years and PF has done it. This foundation checks all my boxes EXCEPT for the coconut oil in it. I haven't checked to see how far up it is on the ingredient list, I just hope I don't break out. Also, I have very large pores and this blurs them. Only reason one star is knocked off is the coconut oil, otherwise, no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy grail foundation for dry acne prone ski This foundation is amazing for acne prone dry skin. It doesn't break me out I think it has even helped my skin because it hydrates it through the day. It looks beautiful and performs suprisingly well in the heat with a good setting powder. I wear the light but the light is superrrrr light. I hope they come out with more shades cause more people should be able to enjoy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Soft This is like a cream and a foundation in one: similar to a serum consistency, this foundation leaves the skin super soft after removal. The wear is light and smooth. I would not recommend layering. I would say this is a sheer formula. The lightest color is VERY light and may be perfect for those with extremely white skin or freckles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 out of 10 I bought this foundation @ Walmart & it has changed my life. I have extremely uneven skin due to bad scarring on my face & this is the only foundation I have ever tried that didn’t settle into the scars or make me look “cakey” or orange. I’ve spent up $45 on foundation & this is still superior to anything I’ve found at Ulta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Beautiful This is such a beautiful easy to blend foundation, no scent that I notice. I have normal to dry skin and this works beautiful for me and the dropper and the packaging is very nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Product but I recently purchased this product at Walmart. I have sensitive oily acne prone skin. I tried this product and do like it very much however the coconut oil is concerning. Not good for acne prone skin. Physicians Formula, you have a great product that provides a nice light coverage. Please make a second type with low comedegenic values for acne prone skin, that way folks who have acne, and there are many of us can use this product without concern. The product must be shaken vigorously to distribute the oils and I found it to provide nice lightweight coverage which I loved but again the Coconut oil is breaking me out. A moisturizer under this makeup, I feel is not needed. Please reformulate this Product for people with Acne. It will be a winner.

What is the undertone or what is the match to L1C1 on these?

Asked by: Mel84
I just saw the lineup at Walmart. In the fluorescent lighting, all shades appear to be neutral, perhaps some slightly warmer, but most slightly cooler than neutral. I think with this formula, if you are stuck between two shades, you probably want to go with the slightly deeper shade since that will a) provide better coverage with less product/won't require building up only for the sake of an even skin tone b) won't leave odd light streaks on your face. I personally prefer foundations to match my neck perfectly when they are full coverage, but with sheer formulas, the general effect is a wash of color, an evening out of tones, a "your skin but better" sort of vibe. (Physicians Formula sells foundation shade adjusters if you want to customize your foundation shade -- I have not tried them yet, but that is an option.)

Is this suitable for oily skin?

No, it is a very creamy formula not suited for oily skin.

I am blonde, blue-eyed with cool skin tones. I am never the palest of any group of foundation shades, but usually the second or third shade down. Anyone have any ideas as to the undertones.

Asked by: Eileen

Can you include swatches of the foundation and what the undertone is?
